Located at the entrance of the village of Rocchetta Tanaro in a converted farmhouse typical of the Astian countryside, Trattoria i Bologna is born of a long family tradition. Grandmother Caterina had a trattoria that was passed down to her son Carlo and his wife Mariuccia. Today, their son Beppe manages the trattoria with Cristina. Beppe leads in the kitchen alongside his mother Mariuccia, who continues to prepare her wonderful fresh pasta, while Carlo and Cristina will welcome you in the dining room.

Via Nicola Sardi, 4 14030 Rocchetta Tanaro (Asti) Rocchetta Tanaro is 15 km south of Asti on the right bank of the Tanaro river. To reach us from the Torino-Piacenza highway, exit at ‘Asti Est’ (if you’re coming from Torino) or at ‘Felizzano’ (if you're arriving from Milan). Then continue on the SS 10, and between Castello d’Annone and Quattordio turn in the direction of Nizza Monferrato. After the bridge over the Tanaro river, and before entering the village, you’ll see the sign for Trattoria i Bologna. |
